This video helped me decide (Versamax tactical) as he compares pro/cons of 4 popular auto-shotguns. As a bonus, he posts here!
3-gun Shotguns are a slightly different beast than HD, in the sense that they will be reloading often, and any time off shooting seems to be best spent continuing what you are doing (reloading) so they pick some huge mag extensions (10-12 shells) that extend way past the bbl. Other than that they need the same things you do, including reliability, pointability, and ease of loading and more capacity than a duck-gun.
cool vid...thxComment

alright fellow gunners..i just ended up buying a Mossberg 930 spx today, I split my budget supposed to be Bennelli M4 FOR $1,600 . I just split in to a Mossberg 930 spx for $850 out the door and the rest with a little bit more to save for a Ruger Alaskan revolver.
Again, thank you for all the input and suggestions!

I think you made a great choice, and don't let any mall ninjas tell you otherwise. While I don't have a Mossberg 930 SPX myself, it is apparently a VERY good shotgun, judging from this video:alright fellow gunners..i just ended up buying a Mossberg 930 spx today, I split my budget supposed to be Bennelli M4 FOR $1,600 . As you can see in the video, you can modify and super charge your 930 SPX into one mean shooting machine.Comment

Wow, didn't know that. I always thought it was odd that Benelli doesn't make one or two more barrels for this gun. Seems like they would sell a ton. I'd love to have a 26" or even a 22" just as a backup for hunting during the Zombie Apocalypse.
