Benelli M3 or M4

I am trying to decide whether to get a M3 or M4. If anyone knows which one is more reliable? Also are there as many aftermarket parts for the M3 as the M4? The main reason that I even want the M3 is for the pump action when using light loads. Will the M4 cycle light loads? Any help would be great.

i'd say neither and get a used M1s90/m2s90 and a 870/500 for the price of the m4.

The M4 is the better gun. It is gas driven. It will cycle light loads just fine. The M4 has a lot more acc. made for it.

I picked up a benelli M1 Tacitcal 9 shot. I couldnt be more happy. I have got close to 2500 rounds through it. Not one issue. I shoot everything from low recoil shells to 3 incher. Best shotgun I ever owned. I payed like 800 for it

The M4 is by far the better choice, inspite of the fact you can hang a bunch of crap on it.

There are many posts on why the M3 isn't a good shotgun. Some people like them others that have them don't.

I love my M3. Not many shotguns can do both semi and pump, it is a little heavier though.

You can get an M3 for much less than an M4 although there are definitely less accessories for the M3.
