Mossberg 590a1 Barrel and Choke options

The 590a1 shotguns only come with a "cylinder bore choke". What are the options to convert to a Modified barrel Choke for shooting clays?

I wonder if my only option is to purchase a whole new barrel replacement? If so, can I purchase any Mossberg 500 or 835 barrel to swap out when I shoot clays and replace with the original barrel when I set it up for Home Defense?

I don't think any of the 590A1 barrels come with removable chokes.

You'd be better off with a model 500 and buy an accessory barrel that's configured the way you like.

I hear that an 835 barrel could fit onto a 5+1 590a1. Has anyone had experience with this?

835 barrel and chokes work on the 590a1, but only if you use the 5 round tube magazine. If you have the 8 shot version with the tube extending the full length of the barrel, you also have to swap out the tube magazine, which means you have to perform a field dissasembly... kind of a pain. I'm considering having a gunsmith cut off the barrel sleeve and solder it back on further up the barrel, then refinish the barrel so I can use it on my full length tube.
