My Bday present to myself :D

Yesterday I bought a Browning 525 Sporting 20ga 30" with Midas tubes with all original everything. This gun was very close to pristine condition. I met with a Calgunner from the SF Bay Area and he drove to me. That was really nice of him. He also threw in a case of 20ga. I am one happy guy. The gun came up to mount so perfectly and the beads lined up right away. The balance and swing was the best part! So perfect. I can't wait to take her out and bust some clays. Next post will be after a round of sporting clays! I can almost say it's going to be a happy post. The gun just fits

Congrats! I saw that particular gun and it sure is purdy...also met the same Calgunner and learned a lot from him. He also let me shoot his Win 101 for a round of trap, definitely one of the best Calgunners around.

What's your favorite sporting clays course, Steve? I've only been to Rooster Ranch in Newman.

Coyote valley my favorite... 2 clay courses---valley course report doubles--- mountain course true doubles... Also skeet and trap ranges.. Its in morgan hill so a 43 mi drive for me BUT still my favorite... Cheers...
