Has anyone torn down their Escort MP-S/A yet?

I cant seem to get the ejection port side shell stop back in place. Don't bother asking why I removed it.

I figure the long legs of the spring point towards the chamber and the short legs are on the shell stop side. I cant seem to get the pieces to line up and then stick in the role pin.

Any help is appreciated.

Can you take photos? I was messing with mine today and took it apart, but it sounds like you went too far with taking it apart haha

IIRC the long end should face the chamber.

That's what I figured but the spring does not want to stay in place when I try and pin it.

Often when you're trying to put something like that together you have to make a small pin to hold everything together. When you push the actual pin through it will push that pin out. I got a bunch of pin sets here for putting together stuff like H&R single shots and other guns that use springs like that.

Just to keep from starting a new thread. Just received the KA extension for my MP-A and was wondering how does one remove the spring cap/holder at the end of the stock tube? Does it just pull out or what?

Needle nose pliers. Just pinch and pull out.

Hopefully I can get it back together without sending it out.
