    Express Super Mag

I am looking at getting a Remington 870 express. I want to buy the regular wood stock and 26" barrell so it is useful for hunting. But I also want to put a breach barrell and thumbhole type stock on it for a tactical gun. One of the reasons I want the 870 express is because of the available of accesories. My question is, do the same accesories (breach barrell, thumbhole stock etc..) that fit the 870 express also fit the 870 express super mag?

By the time you buy all the accessories you want, it might not be that much more to buy a second used 870 tricked out for home.

        Soooo, here's my opinion:
Swapping barrels is easy and quick.
Swapping mag tubes and mag limiters is less easy and less quick, but not terrible.
Swapping stocks is kind of tedious.
In the end you might find that your gun stays a hunting gun (that'll you'll use for HD if you need to) or it stays an HD gun (that you'll never use for anything else).

I'm also not entirely enthused with the 870 Express, and given my druthers would prefer to pick up a used 870 Wingmaster mag and a used police 870.

again, that's just my two cents.

I have an 870 super mag and the disassembly is slightly different then the normal 870. Mine need a break in period of a few hundred rounds but now it shoots every ammo even the bulk Winchester and Federal fine. I originally bought an 887 nitro mag but it broke after 16 rounds so I sent it back to Remington and had them replace it with the 870 super mag turkey and waterfowl model. IMO I would just get an 870 police magnum for hd and a separate 870 for trap and field etc.

            +1

This needs to be the task of two different shotguns.

I am starting to lean toward the two shotgun idea, thanks
