Seriously thinking about getting one of these. Anyone have any experience with them. I alwase wanted a convertible but benelli M3's are hard to find and expensive. These look like they are under $600 , if they are reliable i think i will get one around christmas time.

Have you ever handled a convertible at all? I did at a shop that had the M3s. Nice gun but... that whole converting business between pump and semi can be a bit confusing without a lot of training and familiarization.
Honestly, I'd rather get a reliable pump or a reliable semi and just stick with it. Getting one that does both may be a nice novelty at the range but I sure wouldn't stake my life on it. -
I own two M3 Super 90s and one M1 Super 90. Guess which one is lighter; the M1 because it doesn't have all of that convertible mess.
While the ability to operate in both Pump and Semi-auto is cool and exotic, ask yourself what do you benefit from having the either end?
1.) To obtain speed, you render the pump useless.
2.) To obtain reliability, yourender the semi-auto uselessneed to get better ammo, because the majority of users say Benelli's inertia systems eats whatever they use; whether on the M4 to the M2.
And some folks that use the M3 never put it in pump.
