Recomend me a barrel clamp- 590a1

Recently bought a 590a1 and will be purchasing a chaote mag extension for it. Im looking for a barrel clamp to help stiffen up and protect the mag extension when installed, and i would also like it to have rails to add a future light and sling mount.

wait? where is this clamp going? The mag extension is past the barrel, so I am unclear where you are going to put the clamp.

You can buy either a light clamp, or a railed forearm. I added a rail to my 500s forearm.

Looks like you have Model# 51517

You would need to clamp it right at the forward sight fin. A shotgun with a longer barrel would allow the clamp to be placed farther down which would give the tube more rigidity. You setup would provide some stiffening, but the end of the tube wouldn't.

My advise is to either forget the mag extension and work with what you have, or sell that and get a 9 shot 20 inch 590A1. Model #51663 which is exactly like yours, but a 20inch barrel+ 9 shot magazine.

If you chose to keep the 51517, I'd invest in a railed forearm. That's where you would mount a light.
