Side by Side Shotgun Barrel Question

I realize that there's only one bead in the middle for a side by side shotgun which I assume would be a concern if you were shooting 100+ yards. But I have to still wonder, are the barrels parallel or are they angled to have the same point of same at a certain distance?

    The barrels are 'regulated'

Double rifles are regulated, shotguns I believe are patterned.

Regulated means they are adjusted to have the same point of impact at a given distance. Yes, double barrel shotguns are regulated as well as similarly configured rifles, drillings etc.

        Patterned and regulated are different.
