You can get a two piece mag extension that screws onto your existing tube then the extension screws into that then the stock nut holds the barrel in place. Or you can get a 1 piece extension tube that replaces your existing tube all together. You might hear alot about 922r and extensions on this post. This is an ongoing debate as to how you read the law and what is legal or not.
By replacing the entire tube and a new follower you have replaced two of the three parts you need to be 922r compliant. It's alot cleaner look too.I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.
