Anyone having issues with the new UTS-15 Light/Laser?

I picked up the second generation UTS-15 Light/Laser and mine seems to have a major flaw.

The housing on the light is about a mm too long so when you screw down the assembly nut it wont allow it to tighten all the way. When you try to tighten it the frame flexes. Because of this the gun does not reassemble tight.

Wondering if anyone else has picked up this light and had a similar issue?

I'm writing UTAS today to see if they have a solution.

In the first two pictures you can see the very small gap, this doesn't allow the barrel nut to tighten all the way.

The third and fourth pictures show how the frame is flexing. The fourth picture is what happens when you try to tighten the nut all the way.

The last picture is the new switch, it sucks that you have to put a sticker on it since the original markings do not apply amymore.

Well problem solved. Filing down the three notches allowed the light to seat far enough back to clear the barrel nut.
