    Need help pricing shotguns

My cousin's husband passed away, and she would like to sell his shotguns. She has a neighbor that wants to buy at least one, but she doesn't know what they are worth, so she called me. Guess what I don't know either.

    Beretta model A303 12 gauge Semi-Auto

SKB 89 DU 0183 12 gauge Semi-Auto This one is a Ducks Unlimited gun that is engraved with a duck scene.

Not the actual gun but the pictured gun is the same series:

I've only seen them once, both are in good shape and haven't been used much. No boxes, no papers. Her husband wasn't a hunter but grew up in a hunting community (Richvale, CA), I suspect that's why he had them.

Any ideas what they are worth?

    Thank you

Did a quick search and they go for anywhere from $450 to $1000. If her shotguns are in good shape she should be able to get around $800 for the Beretta A303.

Thanks Stew that should give her a starting point with her neighbor.

        I appreciate your help.

Blue Book of Gun Values lists the following:

Beretta A-303 Field - $450 (100% condition) down to $240 (60% condition). There are many other variations of the A-303 like a sporting model, skeet model and trap models which could increase the value up to $550 (Super trap model) or decrease the value to $400 (Skeet model)

SKB - The Blue Book does not list the DU shotgun. Is there an actual model number on the gun itself? The book shows the only models manufactured during 1989 are the 1900 and 3000. The 1900 ranges from $485 down to $260 and the 3000 ranges from $545 to $285. I would believe the DU stampings would add value but I have no idea how much.

The SKB only has that serial number no model number. I found an auction where the gun was still in the box (used the picture above), and it was listed as a 1900.

So I guess that puts her around $400 for each gun.

            Thanks shooter.

Keep in mind that the prices of all guns are UP at the moment. Stocks of all guns are rather low and sales are up. You would be wise to price high!
