    Spartan Ammunition?

I just came across this brand of buckshot on SGAmmo. The price is killer at $107.50 for a case of 250 00 buck.

Has anyone had any experience with this ammo? It's cheaper than the Rio stuff and Rio is pretty decent.

Me too, saw this for sale and wondered the same. Anyone shoot some yet?

It's European made ammo which fires fine, and it's cheap to boot.
It'd be totally fine for training purposes, heck even duty use if you practice enough with it and find it to be good enough for you.

Well, I just ordered 2 cases. 500 shells for $241 shipped is $0.48/shell. Really, hard to beat those prices for 00 buck.

I ordered some and fired 50 from my Saiga with no issues whatsoever. Only thing is - as expected - the groupings at past 10 yards are just ok when compared to Federal or Remington 00 buck. This is through a shortened Saiga 12 barrel with Polychoke.

I just shot some of mine today, birdshot though, it was pretty nice, no misfires, threw a couple clays in the air by hand and hit them so i give it a thumbs up

I ordered a case of 250 for 60 bucks off Bulkammo.com when it was on sale

From what I've been able to find, Tula makes it.

I bought a case of it from J and G sales at the gun show for 99$ plus tax a few months ago. It was flying off the shelf. Literally ppl lined up buying it like crazy.

It functions flawless in my pump, so so in my 930 spx (I have issues with lots of name brand ammo in my spx semi auto so that doesn't really mean squat to me)

I would buy cases and cases of it for this price. As its great functioning ammo.

I tested some out, patterns like the S&B stuff, about a foot at 15 yards.

And if i remember correctly, the shells are actually 2 3/4" and not closer to 3" like most of the euro stuff

Flawless function in pumps and semis

I too have had good luck with the 00 buck through my H&R pump. For the price I'm planning to buy up a lot more.
