    I must be a he-man, because...

I shot 250 rounds in and hour and 45 minutes on Saturday, and I'm not even sore.

either that, or my gun fits and I was using the proper technique (it's probably those two). I took a lesson from Ray Brown on Saturday at Triple B Clays and I shot a case of ammo.

Since I had cataract surgery on both eyes I can see better, but it's like learning to shoot again.

I know a lot of you guys are just starting out, but it's all about gun fit and technique.

.. I get a chuckle outta people that act like they dislocated a shoulder after shooting a 12ga. Even the 308 is a breeze.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

That's nothing. You should see how much 460mag a fellow member shoots in a range day.

+1 on technique. When I first started shooting steel, on some advice from a much more experienced shooter I changed my grip and it made a world of difference.

Damn. You mean I'm not a he-man too?

Its all about proper fit. It really is.

I have shot 200 gameload shotshells in a day (100, lunch break, 100 again) before and felt fine afterwards. But I agree, it's a mind blow because I usually have it in my head to shoot 100 per day. Probably an indication of the clay addiction taking further hold. But wish I could afford, and had the time, to shoot like that more often.

FYI, there are two fun shoots coming up on Sunday Aug 4th: Big Bonanza at MnM (sporting clay) in the AM and Sansei Skeet at Triple B's (all day). I plan on shooting (each are 100 bird events) AND eating the lunches provided each both events. Now that's an achievement right?

Wish I had the opportunity to shoot clays like that every weekend!!! More clays = More better!!!...just the family schedule and that darn wallet/bank account thing.

Shooting 1oz loads does not make one a he-man.

That's still only 250 oz or the equivalent of holding 2 sleeping babies for an hour and 45 minutes.
