CZ 920 or Tristar Viper G2

Which one would you get? I can basically get them for the same price and they have similar features. Basically looking for a upland game bird gun that I can take to the field and not worry about scratching the stock, getting sweat, blood, or dirt on it.

I am not a fan of the CZ900 models as their recoil spring is located in the stock. This will make stock adjustments (if you need to make any) more difficult and expensive.

If you are really thinking of getting a CZ in 20ga for a Semi-auto, I suggest the CZ 720. The design is exactly the same as the 920 except the recoil spring is located in the foregrip. If you want that nicer stock, they make a target model of the 700 series.

I'd put money on that they are the same gun. Schematics in the tristar look identical to the CZ.

I'd go CZ, just knowing that they will be around to support it. They are both Huglu guns so parts will be around for a while.

I agree though, go with the 720.
