    Hatsan escort SA assembly question

Sorry for the stupid question... but I bought a hatsan escort semiauto a few months back havent really shot it too much. I was wondering how do you remove the 3 round plug from it? I dont know much about guns... kinda new to them. I found the owners manual online but it wasnt too much help. I guess I could just fool around with it till I figure it out.. but maybe you guys might now how to generally remove the 3 round limiter plugs from semi autos?

Haha... you guys must not have one. It's a lot harder then it sounds.

At least for ours, you needed to pull the cap off, take the entire mag tube off the gun. Use a pair of pillars to literally pry out the metal insert. Remove everything but the spring (there is a rod and follower).

Then replace the spring and plastic cap. Crimp the metal insert in your hand as hard as you can and insert it back over the spring into the tube. You will need a mallet. Once you get even a mm in, pound the rest in.

        Now reassemble.

Then, you're done. It takes 2 people and about 20 mins. It is a major pain on the semi auto version. Otherwise great gun at a smoking price.

unscrew the magazine cap, there will be a flat black "disc" thats the plug use a screwdriver or something to pry under it until you can get a hold of it, pull it out, and put the cap back on... done
