    Mossberg 930 - Target Loads?

Anyone have a 930? If so, what ammo cycles best for shooting clays? I usually use Federal Target Loads #8 shot, but I'd like to know what ammo cycles best in the semi-auto 930?

    Thanks!

Fed target #8 works great in the 930 JM pro. I can usually even get Winchester Super Target Xtra-lite to cycle the gun also.

Unless it's really really dirty I've never had a cycling issue with any shells.

I've shot Walmart bulk (Winchester/federal), white box estate, low end fiocci in my 930 to see if the infamous cycling issues were true.

I did full mag dumps, including full tube of one type of ammo, every other round a different make shell, 3 of one brand 2 of another. Slug, buck and bird all in one tube. Light and 00 stuff and everything ran fine

I stick to federal bulk being cheapest or estate being estate is a little more expensive but easier to get right now

I stay away from Winchester bulk now being it seems to have issues with all types of shot guns I've used 870, 500 590 and a couple others. Especially that federal bulk seems to be more reliable in my case than the Winchester. And can be had for the same price. But as far as my 300 rounds of different ammo my 930 runs everything but I prefer federal bulk/estate being reliable clean and cheap. Honestly my 930 has been more reliable than my 870s and 500s being it can spit Winchester with no issues.

Both my 930SPX and JMPro works with Win. Universal #7-1/2 shot. I think and perfer the Federal. I have some Estate birdshot that seems very reliable as well.
Seems Mossberg has ironed out the reliability issues in the 930 series.
Ain't that JMPro just .....*****in'...errr I meant awesome. Whata winner. The Versa Max just doesn't measure up to the JMPro IMHO. Especially when it comes to price.

i noticed if it ever gets fte while shooting just feed it a high velocity round to shoot out all the carbon in the gas system.

I only have cycling issues with cheap ammo. Like stuff made by Tula.

All that goes in my 590a1
