    mossberg500 forend change-out

I just changed out my stock forend for a MAKO tri-rail forend and am noticing quite a bit of play from side to side. Does anybody know if there is a fix for this?

It's normal for mossbergs to have a little forearm rattle.

Don't throw out the OEM forend,, my guess is that you will be soon reinstalling it

why? I have not fired the weapon with this new for end but even the factory one had some play, it just seems that this MAKO model has more than normal play.

IMO railed forends, (cheese graters) on a pump shotgun are not pleasant to shoot.
