    Where do you buy ammo?

I've been looking around for the best deal on target loads. The best I found so far was Walmart selling 100 rounds of 12ga #7.5 2.75" shells for $20 and change. None of the online retailers I have found sell for less than 23 cents/shell.

Where do you guys buy your shotshells, preferably in bulk?

Most of the time Walmart for me.

A couple months back Turners had a sale on Remington Premier STS target loads, some of the best on the market for $6.99/box IIRC on sale. Needless to say that Turners cashier sure was happy when I cleaned them out.

Walmart. And their prices have jumped up a bunch in the past year (of course that sounds like a broken record as all prices are going up). Federal bulk box is still the cheapest. I got some closeout Wichester from one Walmart by me a year ago at 16c a shell. I believe it was Xpert hi-velocity and Drylok 3" shells all marked down 70-80%. The wife would let me fill up the cart but I got about 10 boxes of various shot sizes.

Had a field trip in a walmart a couple years ago when they were getting rid of there ammo.. Bought 77 various boxes of 12 ga #6 #7.5 #8 which rang up to 250 some dollars. Only got to shoot 5 boxes before I decided to sell it as it was heavy to lug around during 2 moves. Now that I think back.. If I had threw away my bed and slept on shells.. would it of been that bad?

I usually order all my ammo from Natchez.

Wal-Mart for 'all-purpose' loads and gun shows for the buck shot and slugs.

I retail the stuff and WalMart beats the tar out of me on price. Why? Because they buy in traincar-sized amounts and can run exceptionally good deals. I'm a small store and can't do that kind of volume. I direct my customers to WalMart. I bring it out to the matches I go to in case someone left home without it, but I don't sell alot that way. It's more of a service than a source of income.

Oaktree Gun Club gets my money for shot shells. For 00 and slugs I have friends that get them through a wholesaler.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

                            Locally in SACTO

Wildsports and RCGE have better deals on pretty much most ammo than Wally world. I do however buy in bulk when WALMART BLOWS OUT AMMO. I bought some Federal 3" duck loads in #2 in both 20/12 ga recently for $5/$6. I bought all they had and it will last a couple of years. The 20 ga is for my son next fall. I'm looking forward to an entire season of duck hunting with him. Wally world caters to shooters and hunters and if they go by the way side it will be a sad day in this state. Yes they can have crappy service but so do many ma&pa shops. Wally world has a deep product line for being a mega retailer and I support them over Target because of it.

Grafs http://www.grafs.com, sometimes if Walmart don't carry what I want during their preseason sales.
The Walmart by me last year only did that for dove/target loads none for duck loads. And I'm sure if they had steel shells in it would be hard to beat.
