    New In Town

Hey guys, I'm from Arizona where we just about have no limits on firearms... Lol! Now in LA and am on the search for a low recoil, 18.5", 12 gauge for the lil' lady. I got a pulp action, side folder for her a while back, but had to sell it to a friend because it just kicked way too much for her and the wire stock hurt to shoot. I'd like to get her another shottie that would be ideal for a home defense gun, but with WAY less recoil. Does semi auto help? Maybe porting and a muzzle break, or both. Obviously a more comfortable stock than that steel side folder I had. Lol!

My issue is with the types of configurations we're allowed to have here. Is the muzzle break legal, or is it considered a flash hider? Can I go semiauto and mag fed, or am I legally limited to tubes with semi. Do I get a pistol grip, or is that considered assault and banned? This is ridiculously cunfusing and seems really stupid. Can you guys help?

Semi auto gas shotguns are your best bet for the least perceived recoil. There are many on the market but a true value purchase are the CZ 712 in any of its configurations.

Muzzle break/flash hiders are legal in CA.

I do not believe you can go mag fed without first adding the EVIL protection features.

Yes you can pistol grip with or without stock as long as it meets the minimum length requirement of 26" and has a barrel length longer than 18 inches.
