I saw this video where it appears there is a fire in the chamber of the shotgun, literally.

I figure unburned powder built up and ignited.

Looks like powered residue burning for a second or two in the barrel probably forward of the chamber. That barrel had to be pretty hot. Overall, a Painful video to watch, muzzle discipline was clearly lacking. Not a guyIi would want to go shooting with.

That is actually common but you don't usually see it in day light.
Try a early morning duck hunt sometime with a auto-loader....................You get a 3 foot flame coming out of the muzzle and about a 4-6 inch one out of the open port. It will happen with a pump gun too, depending on how fast you cycle the action or if you have a real slick one that pops open under recoil.

Interesting... I've seen some gnarly 12ga muzzle blast but never actual flames.

I have had it only happen to my in my semi-auto. I only realized it as on the final shot, the bolt locks open, and I saw there was a little bonfire that went on in the chamber for like 1 or 2 seconds and went out.
