    mossberg 590 question

i just noticed how my ejector slides back a little. i think this is because i replaced the skrew with a tac stare one so i could mount s side saddle. im just wondering if the slight movement will damage the ejector?

slides back? Like, moves in toward the receiver? or moves back and forth? if it moves back and forth you will need to tighten the screw a bit. under recoil this screw can back itself off if not properly fitted and the ejector can be damaged. although its a 30 cent part, we'd all rather not have to replace them

if its moving toward the receiver like a spring, its supposed to do that. its bent from the factory and should stay that way. many parts on the mossberg are bend-fit for proper function. so if something looks crooked or off center dont fix it!

ok, all you need to do is secure the screw. if you have any blue loctite, remove the screw and add some. re tighten and be set. if you dont have some, get some like i said before this screw does have a tendency to back out after a while
