i bought it from Turners Outdoorsman. I paid $1399 + tax and dros.
i think it is a pretty good deal, since the cheapest i have seen them go online are for $1600. this wasnt evena shelf model. it was in the box, still in the factory oil. gun was not assembled. i made sure it was the 2-port barrel becasue i have read about problems with the 4 port barrels.Last edited by modenar1; 04-19-2006, 11:08 AM.Comment

I was saving for one of these bad boys when I found about the offlist craze and jumped on that bandwagon instead.
Turners Norwalk had one a while back, but its gone now. The fat lady said that they probably wont be getting more anytime soon, and if I wanted one, I would have to pay in advance and they could order it for me. A week later, another guy behind the counter told me that Turners has them in the warehouse and that I could put one on layaway (vs. all up front for a special order). Got the same thing from Signal Hill too.
Great thing about Turners is they let you layaway, and as long as you make a payment now and then, they wont cancel it. Just last year I had a Colt 1991 on layaway for like 8 months, giving 40 or 50 bucks whenever I felt like it, and they didnt give me any grief, even though their policy is to hold layaways for 60 days.L.A. I dont know how many they have now as this was a month or so ago, but every Turners has a daily updated list of the guns that each store and the warehouse has in stock. If you want a gun they don't normally carry you have to pay their cost plus 10% all up front. If its a gun that they usually carry, but is out of stock, you can just put it on layaway (25% down), same as if they had it in stock.L.A. County
