    Stock Fitting

Sorry, this is not about paramilitary, home defense, or tacticool shotguns.

I use my 20 gauge Browning Silver Hunter semi-auto for pheasant and busting clays. I really, really like this shotgun. However, the standard stock doesn't fit me right. Mainly, when I shoulder the shotgun properly, my head is too high so I have to get my head low and ride the butt higher in my shoulder to get a level sight plane.

I need some recommendations for someone who can tweak the stock to fit me better, and I live in the SF Bay area/N. Calif.

Yes, I will be calling Browning to see if any of their shims will fit this shotgun.

    Any suggestions?

      ><

If your not to far from San Francisco or San Jose....I can help with a simple stock fitting.

If memory serves me, you should have a set of shims with the Silver so they should be available

Feeder.....the Silver does not come with shims. But they might be available anyway from Browning. I'll be calling them. I'm hoping they'll tell me there are shims for this shotgun.

For general info, I called Browning and they don't make shims for the Browning Silver...unless it has a synthetic stock. Mine doesn't.
