Is it illegal to have an AFG on a semi auto shotgun?

Believe since it has a fix/tube mag, makes it so you can have a forward grip without any legal issues.

It is only illegal if the semi-auto shotgun also has a folding or telescoping stock.
30515. (a) Notwithstanding Section 30510, "assault weapon" also
means any of the following:
(6) A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following:
(A) A folding or telescoping stock.
(B) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action
of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip.
(7) A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a
detachable magazine.
(8) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
*Disclaimer: The DOJ has made no official ruling on if the AFG is a 'vertical handgrip', but assume the answer is yes.You think you know, but you have no idea.
