Stupid question: So I cut the crimp off of a federal power shok 1oz slug shell just to see how the slug is constructed. Since I haven't touched the powder charge or messed with the wad, can simply drop the slug back in the shell, gently chamber and fire it? or should I just leave the slug out and use it as a blank?

Safe to fire?
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.Tags: None -
It is safe as long as it completely fits within the shot cup and the weight is the same as what was originally in it.Stupid question: So I cut the crimp off of a federal power shok 1oz slug shell just to see how the slug is constructed. Ensure you have a proper way to make it so the slug doesn't slide out though, as that could lead to catastrophic problems for you.
I personally turn slugs I slice off the top into hot glue slugs. If made properly, they are safe and perform rather well.
