Trap range etiquette

So I finally dove in and bought a shotgun, I went to the range and shot trap for first time last week and it was a blast. At the end of shooting 2 rounds, the other guy I was shooting with "tipped" the range worker that was keeping score and launching the targets for us. Seemed reasonable and I followed the leader and did the same.

So the question now follows, Is that 'standard practice'? If so how much is reasonable per round/per day. I don't see myself shooting more than 50-75 shots (2-3 rounds) in a day. Thanks for any advice.

The range I go to is voice activated. So I never had anyone push the button for me.

My bad, rifle language, 1 shot = 1 round. My shoulder is good for 2-3 rounds.

I don't think it's expected, specially at a public range. But, if everyone tipped a buck a round (25 birds), the kids would be making great money.

Yeah, a buck or two per person per round is the norm.

Never encountered it at trap (auto voice pullers at my range), but if staff or volunteer is pulling targets and/or keeping score I would gladly tip them.

Buck a round is fair, I don't see any difference between pulling birds, loading up the machine for us versus someone caddying for a golfer, etc. Most ranges seem to be going to voice activated but even then, someone has to load those machines.

We don't have pullers for skeet, so no tipping here, but when I shoot at clubs that provide pullers, a buck a round is standard

Heck...I should tip myself. We have voice activated calls and I have to load the machine myself and even switch it back and forth from singles to doubles!
