Ithaka 900 barrel adjustment

I just recently purchased a ithaka 900 20ga and I haven't shot it yet but the cap that holds the barrel on I noticed with the floating barrel that there is no tight the barrel just keeps moving back is there any rule of thumb of how tight should that cap be? It may be a ithaka xl900 I have no idea the difference.
