Mossberg 500A trigger housing retainer pin

I'm trying to remove my Mossberg 500A trigger housing retainer pin, but it will not budge. I'm trying to install a sidesaddle. Is there any reason why I'am having trouble removing it? Thanks...

that is odd, mine comes right out with a little push. Try a rubber mallet and give it a slight tapping?

mine comes right out also, i change the config of the gun often for HD and trap shooting. i can push it back in with my finger. try some very light tapping while pushing down on the trigger guard.
