Rem 870 Slugs @100yrds

Went to the range this weekend to shoot some slugs out of my Rem 870 tactical at 100 yards. Was not expecting it to be that accurate.

Yup...slugs are great.
If I could only have one firearm it would be an 870 with an assortment of slugs and various sizes of shot. Hunting to self defense.

I'll bet that the slugs were rifled, but good eyes and shooting needed anyway.

Last weekend we were shooting slugs at 125 on metal...Federal low recoil...a great time...870 18.5 inch barrel bead sight....The guy next to me had basically the same shotgun but ghost ring sights...We did about the same

Yeah I shot a mossberg 930 last week with ghost rings and rifled slugs . Got five shots at 100 yds on a 8 inch Target

I shoot at ASR (Angeles Shooting Range in Tujunga) from time to time and they've got metal targets set out at 100 yards on the rifle range to the right. When a rifle slug hits one of those metal plates at a 100 yard out, it sounds like the gong show! Love the instant feedback....GONG!
