    Stoeger double defense

Not because of Biden but thought a double shotgun would be fun to have plus easy to teach wife in an emergency situation. She has no interest in guns and easier to shoot double then risk short shucking. Anyways anyone have experience with side by side stoeger? They are owned by benelli which is owned by Barretta but are made in a factory in brazil.

And it is the 20 gauge model. Bought 3,4,5 buckshot and will experiment with her in terms of control

Yeah that would be better but does anyone own a stoeger double barrel currently and can share some feedback on it?

I want a hammered SxS for my HD gun. Really cuts down on the choices. I like the black on black look of the DD though. Just wish it had hammers.

I agree with you having hammers would be really cool but it wasn't available off the shelf and at that price point

Smoothbore shotgun barrels aren't going to leave any sort of rifling marks on the shot, and unlike a pump or autoloader, you get to pocket the empties when you open the action (if you choose).

I have a Double Defense and I love it. It is fast on target and very accurate with whatever I put through it.

Are you planning on commiting a murder or something? Lol

Not sure why being untracable is an advantage if its for HD. Unless there's something I don't know?

This 18" Escort has chokes and a rail. I guess I have to buy one just to look at it? Escort is a Legacy/Turner's brand.

I'd take that to the skeet range! Wouldn't be the first time the other guys on the squad gave me funny looks...
