Sorry not sure where to post this. So I went down to the target range in Van Nuys it being the closest range near me . They don't allow the use of outside shotgun shells or target load so 00buck only and its getting pricey practicing. Anyone know of a range outside or indoors that isn't totally far from van nuys area, that would allow the use of target load or the very ;east some of the ammo i have saved up. any help is appreciated.

Angeles Shooting Range in Sunland - They have both trap and target shooting options for you.

Angeles lets you use bird, buck, slugs.
"A place to shoot" allows buck/bird on on of there pistol ranges and slugs on their rifle range. They also have a nice clay station for shotguns much better than angeles. I prefer outdoor ranges anyway.

Farther away is Burro Canyon. It is about a 25 drive up Azusa Ave. (turns into San Gabriel) off the 210 freeway. Shoot what you want.

ya i have also shot at the target range. actually a member there. kinda sucks i cant bring my own 00buck since theyre the exact same winchester or remington shells they sell. They also dont allow the use of aluminum pistol rounds, everthing has to be brass.

Aside from that i think theyre pretty cool guys. I actually bought a gun there as well.

Im planning on checking out Angeles, but would also like to check out burro canyon. A lot of friends hit up Burro and always have a good time.
