Pump Shotgun Feature Limits

I apologize if this has been asked and answered. Wanting to add a new (to me) Remington 870 Magnum defensive (short barrel) shotgun to the stable. I am looking for CA limitations on stocks for pump shotguns. I.E., thumbhole, collapsible, pistol grip, etc., or anything else of interest limited by CA law?

You can pretty much do anything to it without causing issues. I called CA DOJ many years ago about this. The nice bimbo on the phone told me to call my local DA. I told her bullpoo, you guys made the law, you guys will tell me what I need to know to keep me out of jail. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes until someone answered. He told me that there is pretty much nothing that I can do to a pump shotgun to turn it into an AW. Obviously not shorter than 26" OAL. Barrel not shorter than 18".

For pump-action shotgun, the only things you need to keep in mind are:
1. Minimum barrel length of 18". [PC 17180(a)]
2. Minimum overall length of 26". [PC 17180(b)]
3. Do no increase the magazine capacity to more than 10 rounds. [PC 32310]
