Semi-auto for Under $1k?

I have been looking into getting a shotgun for recreational shooting (trap/skeet/sporting clays) but would also like something I can use for HD.

My Question is, is there a Semi-auto with two barrels (one 18" HD and one 26"/28" Field) that is around $1000 all-in? I'd love to hear what my options might be, and if you guys can point me to any links or websites to help look things over I would be very grateful.

There is a semi auto at big 5 for like 700 only comes with one barrel though.

I would focus on getting what you want for a clays gun, then buy a cheap throw around pump HD gun. You can probably get both guns for 1000 if you look around and buy used.

For that much, you may as well go with a pump action like everyone else stated.

On a side note, the Remington 870 has Magpul furniture available now that allows the shooter to change up the comb, which is a pretty nice feature for clay busting since some folks prefer to change the POI a little higher than the front sight bead.

I got my Winchester SX-3 for $720. Great Shotgun. It would certainly be on my list. I agree with having a semi-auto for hunting/recreation, and a pump for Home Defense.

The words cheap, semi auto, and reliable don't go together imo. Buy a used shotgun is the way to go if $ is of concern.

My vote is to get two shotguns...

My money is on the A300 Outlander for being a better gun for clays and cost around $680 and comes with 3 adjustable chokes.

I have a 500 and while swapping barrels isnt a big deal, I prefer a semi for clays and a pump for HD.
