    model 11 question

So i scored a model 11 made in 1943 from a neighbor who wanted to turn it in to the police after her father passed. I took it out today and this thing is SWEET!! My only other shotgun is a mossberg 500. The recoil on the model 11 is next to nothing and is a real joy to shoot. Now it only hold 4+1 and i would like to up the capacity a bit. looking around it seems like some of the 870 mag extension tubes work with a spacer. Has anyone done this?

I was using a piece of PVC until Mr. Harmoniums made a couple spacers from steel, and shared one. I read somewhere if you do this; to also chamfer the inside edge of the stock mag-tube so the spring or shells don't get hung up on it.

Ok, grab a cup of coffee and sit back. The top three photos are of my Winchester 72A which had a really good finish when I picked it up, for $200, but age was hiding the beauty of the grain. The other was for a customer. Brief History: I've used this process for four years now on Walnut and...
