Need help finding parts for an Italian 12ga. does anyone know where?

Hello,I came up with a 12 semi-auto, pretty light weight,clean,28" vent rid bbl. The name(s) on it are as follows. left side of the reciever: Imperator Italguns International. Bbl. says: "Inter.American Sac' to Ca." 12 ga. 2 3/4" chamber. Now for the fun ! This shotgun is in near mint condition, the previous owner removed the trigger and load lift gate by removing two reciever pins on the side of the reciever for safety reasons around the house some time ago, looks like one unit deal. Now does not know what happened to this assembly. So now I have this project, can anyone direct me here on locating parts ? Or is this even possible? Junk it ?. Thanks in advance

The Sac to Cal was an importer. Inter American Import, Sacramento Ca. Was one of several gun wholesale & import companies operated from Sacramento since the before the 70’s. They became the "Old Sacramento Armory" they went out of business in something like 2007. That is all I could find out. Nice gun. Take it up to http://www.stevemeansgunsmithing.com/ in Grass Valley. He can either find the parts you need or make them. Awesome gunsmith who will get your beautiful gun shooting again.

I don't expect everything handed to me. Just set it down anywhere. Unknown

      Also Browning B2000 or B80

I will add a photo of the bottom of the reciever Tuesday morning to show better detail. I guess my next question is, are the trigger group and loading gate normaly a one piece unit to take in and out like this looks ? Like is this maybe how some semi-autos take down for cleaning the action/trigger group ?I am obviously not familiar with semi-auto shotguns, so this is a new field for me. I am more handy with rifles and pistols. Thanks for all the above help. One more question if I may ? Could be more than it's worth cost wise to try and get running? $ 200- or so ?

Okay , I am now on my home PC and did a Google image search of the above mentioned possibilities, it is not the Berreta 303 or 390, but I do thank you. As far as Franchi AL48 it is close except the bottom of my reciever is straight accross the rear above the trigger and the rear reciever pin looks to far back twoards the stock, but close, which got me to the Franchi model PG80, the holes holes in the reciever look to be the same position as mine and the bottom of the reciever is straight like mine also. In reading about the Franchi AL48, I learned that the barrel moves back with the bolt like A Browning A5 I used tio have. So with this said I wonder if I can next find some kind of cross over information to nail this down for sure. So is this closer to a PG80 ? Much thanks for the above help.

I'm not familiar with a PG80. The Franchi has been around since.....'48 (IRRC). I was not aware of "private branded" versions, but that doesn't mean they weren't sold that way. The reciever shape screams Browning B80 too, but again, I know of no private branded B80's. That would be more odd than a Franchi i'd guess.

If you're not already on, join the shotgunworld forum. Lot of knowledge there. Might be able to nail it down. I know there's a gunsmith there who takes special interest on old italian autos and A5's.

I have a couple 20 gauge Franchi's before they were labled AL48, but that won't help with measurements. Yes the trigger group and lifter plate are commonly an assembly on autos. So is this a "push barrel"?

If you can define the gun, I'd say it's likely worth putting back together. The trigger assy couldn't be too costly providing you can locate one. Maybe $50? Or you could glue a Pmag to it, call it an assault shotgun and get $200-300 at a gun buyback. ;-)

Yes I was on shotgun world forum a bit last nite. I learned from it to remove the forend stock and under the bbl and the water table there are numerous makers marks to help indentify easier. As time allows we'd. I will sign up on there forum and ask this of them and be able to include the said makers marks. It is a push back barrel for sure and it seems very cost effective buy the trigger group ect. I would hate part it out or do the pmag thing LOL ! Thanks for adding to the wealth of help I am recieving here.

Still seeking help here, some of the markings & proof marks under the bbl. and fore end are :there are 2 sets of three stars in a row, leters:PSF , riNNTO. Any guess helps get me closer. It is close to Franchi, but when I contacted them the response came back to me from Benelli and they said they where not familar with Imperator Italguns International since they went out of buiss. Thanks in advance again. Sure would be a nice one to get up and running ! Her is a photo of marlings underside of bbl.
