Advice - Cutting Down Synthetic Stock

I have a Franchi Affinity with a synthetic stock that is long for my length of pull.
I am looking at having Bob Day from R & D Custom Barrel fit my gun for me.
Has anyone had their gun fitted by him or have knowledge of his work. Also anyone cut their synthetic stock and have issues with bonding breaking loose for the pad mounting.

Where is he at and how much does he charge to cut a synthetic stock?

I was also looking at maybe getting a smaller LOP stock due to my 930 being my HD gun when I get it. Assuming its reliable through my trial test period

Yes,He adjusted the LOP and installed a Kick-eez on my A400 Xcel. No issue on the quality and workmanship. I would recommend him.

My stock was wood and it was about $100 for the work and pad. He gave you a discount if you paid cash, Turn around time was about 2-3 days. He works out of his garage in a residential area in Pico Rivera. Just know that when you go to his place since there is no big sign that says "Gunsmith".

Shotgun choke tubes, installation in 12 20 28ga .410 bore. Screw In Choke. Standarad and thin-wall systems, Barrel porting, gunfitting, recoil pad installation, lengthening, polishing long forcing cones, chamber and head spacing work. Custom gunfitting and refinishing. Pads and sights, Bob Day, Shotgun Modifications, R&D Custom Barrel, Americhoke

Keep in mind, almost any gunsmith can cut a stock and fit a pad, you can even do it yourself with the proper jigs. There are very few gun fitters in the country that are really good.

I used Bob a few times, and never had any problems.
