Why do you need an Assault Shotgun? Just get a Double Barrel Shotgun and shoot it through the door or up into the air and the bad guys will run away.

Then shells, shells, and more shells. Maybe a pack of pigeons if you can get someone to throw them for you... if not they make great ground targets too.

Congratulations! I just got back from putting my first shotgun in jail. (a Mossberg 500)

Looks to me like you got a terrific deal on what I hear is a great gun. The lowest price I found for one was about $500, and it was more of a base gun than you ordered. Hope your delivery is quicker and trouble free.
