    Benelli M4 - 922(r) Compliant?

Here is the parts list from Freedom Fighter Tactical that you could replace to make your Benelli M4 922r compliant:
    1. Receiver
    2. Barrel
    3. Bolt
    4. Bolt carrier
    5. Gas piston
    6. Trigger housing
    7. Trigger
    8. Hammer
    9. Disconnector
    10. Buttstock (with integral pistol grip)
    11. Forearm/handguard (forend)
    12. Magazine body
    13. Follower

My understanding of the law is that for the NON-collapsible stock, you need to replace three parts from that list above with USA made products. If I were to replace these three part below, then would I be in compliance?
    1. Mesa Urbino Stock
    2. Carrier Comp Full Length Mag Tube
    3. Carrier Comp US Follower

    Thanks guys!

Stock Benelli M4 is completely legal in Cali. It's sold at Turners with a limited mag tube. The 922r I'm asking about only applies to adding a full length mag tube. You can't just add the mag tube and be legal.

You're correct form my understanding of the law. Since you're replacing it with a US made mag tube you only need 2 other US made parts. If you put an extension on then you need 3 other parts since and extension does not count to the 3 parts list.

            OP, you got it

You can also find US made hammers and hand guards, albeit a bit hard and lower production

Anyone ever met the 922r police? I'm still trying to locate them.

Y'know... The only instance I've heard of where someone was charged with a 922(r) violation was where the gun owner was already being booked for all kinds of criminal activities.

So, in an anti-gun state like CA I'd definitely stay as legal as possible.

Have you checked out freedom fighters? They have a few things for your Nelli.

Thanks guys! Time to order some stuff! Kip at Carrier Comp said 3-4 month wait time so the earlier the better.
