    Model 11 problem

I was out at Prado this morning shooting my Model 11 and then I noticed there was a problem
It wont lock into battery, the bolt just freely moves

Any thoughts on what failed or what the solution to the problem is?

    Here is a video

    Thank you for your help

Does it work? The recoil spring that rides in the stock is most likely broken.

Remove the stock and there is a big tube on the back of the receiver. In that is a spring held in place by a pin. You'll have to pull the pin and replace that spring. I'd bet that is the culprit.

The spring is the most likely issue.
That is what drives the bolt to lock up in battery.

I think I got it back together

excuse the lack of proper technical terms

the piece in the back that captures the spring had unthreaded
so I put gas tape on it and threaded it back in

I believe that will fix it
              well hopefully
