    Shot my first 25...

    ...out of 26.

I missed the 3rd bird from position 1, but every shot after that felt automatic. I feel like I've come along way from my first time ever picking up a shotgun about a year ago. link: here

I'm still having fun shooting trap at LPRG and am still getting to know my Remmy Baikal better. I've gone through about 400 rounds of Federal, so that's 16 rounds of trap I guess, give or take. This was the closest I've come to 25 straight, and it felt pretty awesome.

    Just a beautiful day out.

I was gunna make a comment about how trap is easier than skeet, but than I realized that I can't shoot trap worth sh*t so I should be saying congrats and asking for help instead of yammering like an idiot. So, congrats! That's damn impressive man! Where is LPRG?

Thanks for the encouragement. I definitely want to try skeet one of these days. Got to make the drive up to USI in Concord one of these days.

If you're ever down in south San Jose, coyote valley is awesome

I'm a member at USI. Great place to shoot. I'm sure you know what they have to offer, but I'm partial to USI. Coyote Valley as someone else mentioned is also a lot of fun to shoot. Skeet will help you with sporting clays. It teaches you how to lead the targets.

I shot trap for a while, then I started to get bored with it, so I moved onto skeet last year in May. I shot 50 straight in trap back then and I recently shot 50 straight in skeet. The only advice I can give you is to try not to get to excited on the last few birds.
