    Benelli M2 feed problems

Has anyone ever heard of a failure to feed problem with an M2? They are supposed to be reliable and never get jammed but mine some how does.

Sometimes the round gets caught sideways after ejecting the spent one, sometimes it doesn't go fully into barrage causing it not to fire.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have the M4 but the winchester target loads did not work well when it was new breaking in. Make sure everything is lubed correctly and try the federal loads. I buy them from walmart in the 4 box pack. I never had any issues with them. Good luck

They need at least 3 dram 1 1/8 oz to cycle the inertia driven action. If you are still having problems you might need to clean and lube it. How long have you had it and how many rounds have you send down range with it?

Well that sucks! I purposely loaded Walmart Winchester and Federal target loads in my new M2 right out of the box just to see if it would fail. It didn't have one issue and then I moved on to the buck shot and slugs and all is good. It sounds like you have a mag feed or a lifter/carrier issue.

10-4. Thats the load I use for most targets. Ive had about 300 rounds down the tube but it seems to never jam with buck or slugs.

Just kills me in 3 gun comps when i engage a popper and have to deal with a jam when a clay is in the air.
