Just put one in jail today. I made the journey from Oceanside to Guns Direct in Burbank. This is a good gun shop. The staff was friendly, courteous and laid back. Worth driving in LA traffic for. Now to get some free time to pick it up.

youll love it, i got the mossberg 930 JM Pro in november, then the versamax tactical in december, the versamax is sweet, sweet enough that i sold the JM pro as a non starter.

i didint need two semi auto shotguns and the versamax felt better, shot softer and just felt a little better.
the ONLY drawback to the versamax is barrel price. 600 for a 28 inch barrel.
i picked up the JM PRO for 639, side saddle and follower cost me about 90.

I am torn between the two:
1. Versamax Tactical - $1300
2. Mossberg 930 JM Pro 24" - $700
Is it really worth the extra $600 for the versamax? If so, WHY! Softer and better recoil seems silly.Comment
