I got mine for $10 off of the rec.guns newsgroup.
This was before email lists and forums though.

Everyone that buys the straight stocked gun wanted the pistol grip stock so they have the straight stock sitting around.
I bought a pistol gripped stock, but removed it in order to install a longer magazine tube.
With the expiration of the federal ban, I just might go back to a pistol grip stock.
Glad I kept my old stock...

I have both- and found it shoots much nicer with the straight stock
The PG looks cool, but that's about it IMO.

thanks for the info guys. Don't even know what he is willing to spend, so will have to hold off for now.
