My Zombie Blaster (Mossberg + Sidewinder)

I think I finally finished my Zombie Blaster... You know just incase those blasted Zeds show up...

I've been buying all the parts slowly over time, but I think it's done now...LOL

    Parts:
    Mossberg 500A
    -Knoxx Sidewinder w/ 3 6rnd box Mags
**10 round drum is in the mail**
-Mesa Tactical High tube AR stock adaptor
    ---Houge pistol grip
    --Enidine Shot Stock
---Mesa Tactical 6 position butt stock
    -Mossberg heat shield (parkerized)
-One Shot Tactical full length rail
    --Rail mounted UTG carry handle
--rail mounted UTG front sight tower
    -ATI muzzle rail
    --NCstar Red Lazer Sight

I was able to test out the Enidine shot stock last weekend. I have to say it really reduces the recoil. I've never felt how much the knoxx stock reduces the felt recoil, but I've read that they both are pretty much the same. I just like the look of the Enidine stock... anyways it really works...
OO buck magnum round felt like birdshot and birdshot had pretty much no felt recoil

Also the mesa Tactical AR stock adaptor helped even out the weight of the Knoxx Sidewinder. the Cavalry Arms saftey is pretty cool you can easily reach the safety with your thumb... well I can anyways..LOL

The full rail took forever to get here, but it was worth the wait... Well I think so... LOL... oh yeah I almost forgot... It can't be tactical with out a laser...

And just so you know... I do have a plain jane Mossberg 500 for HD. My Zombie Blaster weighs 10lbs, I did weigh it...LOL, I just wanted to see what I could do with my Sidewinder.... PLus the Mesa Tactical and Enidine Stock replaced the cheap crummy ATI Stock I use to have on it....

I just have to wait for the 10 round drum to get here. I've been waiting along time to get one of those for my sidewinder....
Now If I can figure out a way to attach a bayonet

have you shot yours yet? i hate mines. cycles like chit. i have 5 6rd mags but converted back to regular tube feed because the feel is chitty, jams every couple rounds and not reliable at all with shorter rds.

Yeah I've fired it. Works great... It's worked great from day one. You have to make sure you have the Sidewinder lined up perfectly. I don't think I'll be getting rid of mine... It's too much fun to shoot
I posted vids of it in action in this thread.... but I didn't have the top rail yet..

My Endine Shot Stock does the same thing. Plus I like the way it looks better. It wouldn't be a zombie blaster without the sidewinder

Is the old magazine tube non-functional, or is there a way to load both the tube and mag, and select from either one (that would actually be cool)

The stock tube mag is sitting in my drawer of spare parts
No, you can't use the tube part of the Knoxx Sidewinder. There is a plunger that sits in there which pushes the shells from the magazine onto the lifter

Man that's a badass looking Mossberg.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

did you have to modify that full rail in order for it to fit? i looked on one shot tacticals website and the only application they have listed is for the remington 870...

When I ordered mine theyhad one listed for the Mesa Tactical high tube adaptor and one for their own AR stock adaptor hte Brobee. I believe the Brobee looks to be the same as the Cavalry Arms SST adaptor. The difference in the two rails has to do with the stock adaptor and not really the shotgun.

The Brobee one goes from the end of the barrel the the top of the stock adaptor. It actually uses a second piece that the rail screws into then that piece srews into the adaptor. Mine mounts to the top of the reciever with the use of the mounting screws that came with the rail that was included with my Mesa Tactical high tube stock.

YES, LOL! That is everything a 'ZOMBIE BLASTER' should be. At first I didn't even recognize it as a shotgun. Nice build!
