How long has Magpul had their shotgun furniture for the 500/590? Just saw it today, and cant find any photos on Google of what it looks like.

It's pretty recent. I got a product announcement email that included the Mossberg SGA on the 15th of January.

I think you're right.
It sure looks a lot better in person. They have or had them at Rifle Gear, were I first saw them.

That forend looks nice I wouldnt mind picking one up.

The forend is nice and skinny so it keeps a slim profile on my 870.

However, the plastic finish is smooth and slippery to grab onto. If you have sticky hands, or are wearing gloves with some rubber gripping on your fingers and palm, then it works great. Otherwise, I feel more confident with a different forend like Hogue. Just my $.02
