I'm giving my daughter a Remington 870 20 ga, what paper work has to be done for the transfer? I looked at the DOJ website but did not see anything about shotguns. Thanks in advance.

Since you are gifting to your daughter, I do not believe you need to do any paperwork. I am sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in soon.*********************

Penal Code 27870 (was 12078 (c) (1))
Section 27545 does not apply to the transfer of a firearm,
other than a handgun, by gift, bequest, intestate succession, or
other means from one individual to another, if both of the following
requirements are satisfied:
(a) The transfer is infrequent, as defined in Section 16730.
(b) The transfer is between members of the same immediate family.
