Pistol grip for my H&R?

I kind of want to make my new H&R shotgun like a pistol, just for the hell of it. Would this be illegal if the barrel is 18" and meets the overall length requirement?

Im leaning towards legal as long as the barrel is at least 18'' and meets OAL.

As long as the OAL is 26" and the barrel is 18" you can have a pistol grip only
