vintage shotgun shells

so i had a great aunt who became unable to care for herself a while ago and we had collected her husbands shotgun collection of probably 30 firearms as well as thousands and thousands of rounds of ammo. most of this ammo is 12 gauge ammo still in the original carboard crate boxes. was curious of the value of it it's probably around 40 year old ammo

I'd either shot it or, try to sell it for about $5/box with exceptionly clean boxes being saved to later sell to collectors for a little more.
