Akdal MKA 1919 - Good Buy?

Hi,

I have (2) VEPR 12 shotguns and I absolutely love them.
I understand there will most likely be a HUGE difference in quality, feel etc. but there's also a huge price difference with the Akdal at 1/2 the price of the VEPR.

Does anyone on the forum have BOTH the VEPR 12 AND the Akdal MKA 1919?

If so, would you recommend purchasing the Akdal?

I don't have a VEPR, but have a bunch of fully mod'd S12s and two Akdals


Akdals require a bit of work to get awesome, check my other posts under Saiga vs akdal

Thanks so much for the links to your great comparison between the Saiga and the AKdal. It looks like it would be a great reasonably priced rifle if I were to be satisfied with the factory stock. I noticed your comment about cutting the stock on yours but don't know if I saw pics of what stock you installed. One of my VEPR 12's has the Rifle Dynamics AK to M4 adapter and an ACE Skeleton stock. Simple as pie conversion and great look!
If you get a chance it would be great to see your converted Akdal.
